Due to the volume of work required to bring the massive amount of data from print sources into a web-friendly format, we are currently looking for talented individuals who are willing to donate some of their free time to work with our team and lend their assistance in regard to the document formatting stages of the project. This includes preparing properly-formatted HTML markup and adherence to document template formats using CSS classes. Minor spell checking and inlinking may also be required in the proper instances. Finally, the bulk of work lies in proper meta-tagging of documents as to enable them to be easily searched and allow the “Related Articles” subroutine to properly find documents related to the one currently being displayed.

Those interested may contact the Corpus Juris team by sending an email containing their curriculum vitae. A link to the user’s portfolio is also appreciated as well as a personal rating of their proficiency in using HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. While pure graphic designers may wish to apply, we are currently only looking for help from coders and possibly those familiar with legalese.

Please note that as of this moment successful applicants are not granted any compensation. This is purely volunteer work done for the legal community in general. They may, however, cite the website itself as part of their portfolio and credited in the Corpus Juris web development team roster.
